REVEALED: Details Of How Stephen Keshi Died

Former Super Eagles spokesperson, Ben Alaiya, who was still shock at the development when Naijaloaded.com called him, said he had been in touch with Keshi just the day before and everything was fine with former Super Eagles handler.

“I spoke with him on the phone as at 6pm, he was very all right. We spoke for about 8 minutes and there was nothing wrong with him. I was shocked to receive a call this morning that his body was being taken to the morgue,” the ace journalist told our correspondence.

Another close associate who would not like to be named, also confirmed that the ‘Big Boss’ was all right on Tuesday but took ill in the early hours of Wednesday at his home in Benin City. The former Togo and Mali coach was rushed to the hospital but gave up the ghost on the way, just hours before he was billed to travel out of the country.

“He was okay on Tuesday. It was between 12 midnight and 1am that he complained of not feeling well, and he was rushed to the hospital but he died on the way,” the source said.

Late Keshi, Naijaloaded, gathered was billed to fly to South Africa to sign a deal to take over coaching of South African club, Orlando Pirates and not to his base in the US as earlier reported.
